As a distinguished alumna of Seton Hill University, Barbara Martin and her son, Michael Martin, collaborated on the design of the freestanding donor recognition sculpture commemorating donations associated with the new Health Sciences Center.
The structure is fabricated out of aluminum with etched panels displaying the names of the many contributors to the project. The design is an adaptation of the DNA strand. Viewed in the round, the sculpture celebrates the sciences while paying homage to the many generous donors whose gifts made the building possible.
