KMA Design was selected to design and develop a comprehensive interior/exterior signage and wayfinding program for the new Dane County Courthouse located in Madison, WI.

To complement the architectural design of the 250,000 square foot courthouse, which includes 20 courtrooms, a custom signage package was created to enhance both the interior and exterior environment through a unified and consistent design theme. KMA Design has also developed a comprehensive wayfinding system designed to move visitors, law enforcement officials, detainees, witnesses, and others through a myriad of entrances, elevators, stairwells, and corridors; both restricted and unrestricted.

Visual enhancements, including historic quotations and large panoramic city scenes, were also developed to enhance the cafeteria, judicial offices, and judicial reception areas throughout the facility.
