The Monongalia County Ballpark, home of the MiLB’s West Virgina Black Bears, was ranked No.1 in Ballpark Digest’s fan voted poll, “Best of the Ballparks” for Short Season A stadiums. According to the results, the ballpark won by a landslide with 87 percent of the votes. KMA Design has had other notable ballpark experience, including PNC Park, home of the MLB’s Pittsburgh Pirates.
PNC Park has been given recognition by ABCNews, ranked No.1 by ESPN, and most recently in 2013 was listed best ballpark in America by TripAdvisor. Signage design services at both ballparks were provided by KMA Design. The firm served as a sub consultant to DLA + Architecture & Interior Design and Populous for the Monongalia County Ballpark, and Populous and Astorino for PNC Park.
