KMA Design was selected to develop a new exterior signage and wayfinding program for Seton Hill University, a private liberal arts university located on approximately 200 scenic acres in southwestern, PA.
The project required development of gateway, building identification, parking lot, wayfinding and D.O.T. signage. The project included the creation of a new internally illuminated directory/fire annunciator that serves visitors and fire safety personnel alike, as well as a new LED message center located at the lone entrance to the campus (approximately one mile from the campus proper), that is updated remotely from an office on campus to announce sporting events, conferences and other events.
The final design blended elements from the seal of the University, as well as colors and fonts from current marketing efforts, that created both a functional and aesthetically pleasing program.
